BMW 3 Series E90 / E91 (2005–2008)
The E90 Saloon and E91 Touring launch this generation in 2005. Engines change before the facelift: choose by output and engine code, especially for a 2007 car. Both bodies share pages when their engines match.

Identify phase and body
E90 means Saloon; E91 means Touring. The September 2008 facelift revises the bonnet, bumpers, headlights and rear lights. Use the build month to identify the phase; registration may be later. This dossier covers documented European engines, excluding M3 and export-market-specific versions.

Documented maintenance
CBS separates oil, front/rear brakes, brake fluid and vehicle check. Oil service varies, with a 24-month maximum in the European bulletin. Cars built before March 2007 retain separate microfilter and spark-plug items; later they are linked to oil services. The pages below give quantities, approvals and operations without turning CBS forecasts into fixed mileage intervals.
Recall checks
The ADAC 3 Series recall list includes the positive battery cable connection (May 2019), a blower regulator that can overheat (February 2021) and Takata driver airbags (including May 2026). Campaign ranges span several models: have the VIN and completed work checked; the BMW badge alone does not establish eligibility.
