Maintenance

Typical interval: 20,000 km or 12 months, whichever comes first. Engine, model year and severe use may require a shorter interval; do not exceed the service warning. The listed oil approvals are not interchangeable: check the one for the engine. Brake fluid: generally replaced every 2 years; inspect the brakes at each service. K9K and older belt-driven petrol engines: replacement often at 120,000 km or 6 years; chain-driven TCe engines are different.
