Choose an engine

Engines

1584: Harley Twin Cam 96, 67 hp (49 kW), 2006 to 2013 1690: Harley Twin Cam 103, 75 hp (55 kW), 2014 to 2017

Maintenance

Typical interval: oil change every 8,000 km or 12 months, whichever comes first. Brake fluid every 2 years. On chain-driven models, lubricate and adjust the chain every 500 to 1,000 km. Plugs, valve clearance and air filter depend on the engine: see each version.

Body style and inspection points

On a motorcycle, tyres, final drive and brakes matter as much as the oil change. Check the tyre manufacturing date, steering-head play and fork-tube seals; an oil film on a tube means a fork seal needs replacing. A notched steering bearing can be felt when braking at low speed.

Comparing generations

Other documented generations of this model: • Street Bob (2018) (from 2018) : cruiser, 87–94 hp. A first registration near a generation change does not identify the car on its own: check the body style and powertrain before using a service schedule.
