Maintenance

ASSYST indicator: it alternates between Service A (oil change and checks) and Service B (more extensive, with filters and brake fluid). On recent European models, expect about 25,000 km or 1 year between services; older cars with flexible ASSYST could go up to 2 years. MB 229.5 / 229.51 / 229.52 approved oil depending on the engine. Brake fluid every 2 years.
