BMW 1 Series Coupé E82 (2007–2013)
The E82 Coupé arrives at the end of 2007 and shares most engines with the facelifted five-door 1 Series. Only the 125i and 135i are its own: they have their pages below. For the other versions, use the page with the same power under the facelifted E87.

Engines shared with the five-door: use the facelifted E87 page
120i: 125 kW, N43 · 118d: 105 kW, N47 · 120d: 130 kW, N47 · 123d: 150 kW, N47S (twin-turbo). These engines have the same power and the same service content as on the facelifted five-door 1 Series (E87, 2007–2011): open the page with the same power under the facelifted E87. BMW Austria’s price lists show the 120d and 123d from 2008, the 120i and 118d from 09/2009, and all four still in January 2013 with unchanged power.
The Coupé-only versions
125i: naturally aspirated 3.0 litre N52K six, 160 kW, from 2008. 135i: 3.0 litre six with 225 kW, first the N54 twin-turbo (11/2007–02/2010 according to ADAC), then the single-turbo N55 with VALVETRONIC from spring 2010. Both 135i versions have the same power: read the engine code before choosing the page. The BMW 1 Series M Coupé (250 kW/340 PS in the Austrian 09/2011 price list) is a separate M model, not covered here.
Original or facelifted Coupé?
The Coupé is built at BMW Plant Leipzig for the world market. The facelift goes on sale from March 2011: a reshaped front apron with vertical air inlets (Air Curtains) and a black bar across the central grille, headlights with an accent strip across the top, L-shaped tail lights in an all-red housing, LED accents with the xenon headlights. The engines stay the same. The Coupé is still in BMW Austria’s January 2013 price list.
Maintaining the Coupé
The CBS calculates the oil change from the fuel used. The oil service follows BMW’s list for models built from 03/2007: microfilter at every oil service; air filter, and spark plugs on petrol cars, every third. Front and rear pads, brake fluid and the vehicle check are separate services. The BMW documents consulted describe no maintenance item specific to the Coupé body.
