Documented maintenance

CBS calculates service needs from use. Read engine oil, brake fluid and vehicle check separately in service requirements. Plan the oil filter with the oil change; have the cabin filter, air filter and spark plugs or diesel fuel filter itemised against the service counter. The consulted handbook does not give their complete version-specific schedule. Report storage with the battery disconnected so time-based items can be corrected. The consulted VI/23 G70 handbook is American. Its oil specifications are not transferred to European versions or the 2026 facelift. For this engine version, confirm oil-change quantity and exact approval in VIN-specific documentation; no quantity from an older B57/B58 installation is substituted.

Documented faults and recalls

The ADAC G70 list includes a starter recall for fire risk and a campaign on the steering-wheel ground connection for certain assistance systems. Equipment and production date determine scope; check the VIN and completed campaigns.
